mugshots

I'm starting a mini project for myself to do over this last term to keep myself active and give myself something to do physically. so ive decided to create mugshots of my friends. mainly for the summer trip to newquay as just part of the laugh to remember it by, but also cos it gives me an excuse to do some potentially intense portraits of my friends, which for once theyre willing to model for. so far this is my little brother just as a tester shot to see how it might look, the boards missing numbers and the backboards missing numbers and so on, its not perfectly edditted either but it gives you the idea of what im going for.

As a person, im not much of a sleeper. When it gets to half four in the morning and you can see this beautiful sunrise developing and you may not get the chance to really experience this strange beauty if you dont go right now, you just have to go out leave your cup of tea behind and hope to come back with some good pictures.

i was really chuffed that morning, going out at half past four listening to my iPod at full volume and singing at the top of my voice just because i could. i spent about an hour out and these are some of what i came out with. it was absolutely magnificent and if my bad sleeping pattern results in a sky like this, i dont think i mind not sleeping.

I like to call this set, bypass bridge, even though there is no visible bridge in the shot.

I like this small set of images, i took them in the pouring rain sat beneath a bridge. it was strange but i like the way they have come out.

just checking to see everything works and is fine.

This is an image i took just as i was getting into photography about a year ago now.

Im not sure what possessed me to take this photograph, but i quite like the general shape of it and the layout. Sometimes when i look at this image i think the port and the screws make it look like an alien like thing.

maybe thats just me.
